The Extended Day Class Program is located in our Crane Road location and is a registered Kindergarten class.  Hours are 8 AM to 5 PM five days a week.  Early drop off as early as 7:30 and late pick up as late as 6 are available.  The calendar has limited holidays and is extended until the end of June.

A summer program is available to continue the same program through the summer months.

The Extended Day Class is designed to meet the needs of the working parent, while providing the children enrolled with a consistent predictable routine in a comfortable family like atmosphere.

Daily activities include: breakfast, circle, work time, bikes, playground time, gym time, lunch, rest, healthy snack activity in the afternoon, special activities (music, movement, nature), in house special activities and bus trips (making apple cider, fire department visits, trip to a play, visits by a storyteller or a musician, visits from the Norwalk Maritime Center, etc.) Afternoon activities such as art, cooking and yoga allow the children to expand their knowledge while remaining a part of this family like classroom. An example of the daily schedule is below:

During the day we offer breakfast and in the afternoon a healthy snack which the children prepare themselves. Children bring their lunch from home. Lunches are kept in the refrigerator and microwaves are available for warming food at lunch time if needed.

Pizza is available for purchase for lunch on Friday. Information is available at the Crane Road location.

Afternoon activities such as art, cooking and yoga allow the children to expand their knowledge while remaining a part of this family like classroom.
