Giving
The Alcott School was
established as a supportive nurturing educational environment for
children with all types of learning styles and their families. The families, friends, staff,
teachers, and alumni of our school support our vision, mission, and
ideals and have helped us to raise the funds that have allowed Alcott School to
grow. We rely on the generosity of our extended Alcott
community to provide an outstanding first school environment for our young
learners.
Current development plans include:
- expansion of our program to the central Westchester area with a new integrated site for Montessori and Special Education classes
- continued upgrading of our school computer network and it's capabilities for both children and staff
- purchase of new books and materials for each of our locations
- reduction of our energy footprint by installing more energy efficient lighting, windows, etc. in each of our locations
- and so much more!
