Mr. Andre's Class : March

“When you find peace within yourself, you become the kind of person who can live at peace with others.”

Dear Families,

Just a reminder, as the weather begins to change please remember to update your child’s clothes. Weather permitting, we do go outside daily. The children need to be dressed appropriately (hats, boots, gloves etc.) We are going to be entering allergy season shortly, please make sure that you take your child to the restroom to wash their hands before entering the classroom.

We also would like to extend an invitation to anyone who would like to visit the class. Families are welcome to read stories, assist with an art project, play music, cook and more. In the next few weeks, our school will begin and continue through May celebrating cultures from around the world. Our class will focus on South America. If you have any ideas that we could contribute, please let us know. On May 12 and 13, we will be having “The Alcott Amazing Race.” We will travel to all 7 continents in two days. We will need parent participation at least one of the two days. Please contact Marilia if you are available to help.

Our class we also want to acknowledge our 100th day in school. As a class, we will recognize the 100 books we have read this school year.

Reminder, that school will be closed Wednesday, March 11th for staff development.

Parent conferences week is coming.(March 16-20) Please look at the dates and times on the sheet posted in front of our classroom.. This time around conferences are spread out a bit between early morning or evening.

Don’t forget your Host Week!

Warm Regards,

Mr. Andre, Ms. Francine, Ms. Carmella, Ms. Marie
