Ms. Anne's Little Class 1 : October

October 25, 2019

Dear Parents,

We have had a fun filled week!   Our theme was pumpkins and Halloween, which we have been thoroughly enjoying.  We painted paper plate pumpkins with Jacqi and Eva, and Kaitlyn helped us make bats as well as painting a class project for next week’s sensory gym.  We used white crayons to decorate mummies and are decorating ghosts with some fun Halloween stickers.  We took out dress-up clothes to practice dressing for Halloween. What a fun morning that was!  We have been making different scary things with our playdough such as, spiders, witches and googly eyed monsters.  We read some really fun books; What’s in the Cave, A Dark Dark Tale, The Biggest Pumpkin Surprise Ever!, The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything, What Is Halloween? And the class favorite, Crankenstein!  We will continue our theme into next week and look forward to the OT gym on Wednesday and our parade on Thursday at 2:50pm.  I will send a note home next week about costumes and plans for the parade.

Have a great weekend.

Anne, Susan, Cole, Jacqi, Eva, Kaitlyn and Joanna
