Dear parents,

We were very busy these past two weeks. The dental hygienist visited our school and we learned important information about our teeth and how to take care of them. For Earth Day we learned about the three important “R’s, Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.” We played games on sorting trash into the right container.

The children continued to practice the letter of the week, numbers, reading and writing.

We are almost at the end of finishing the whole alphabet and the class is happy and excited. We have come a long way since September when we started with the first letter of the alphabet, “A.”

We also learned about farm animals and insects. We got our butterfly larvae in the classroom and are so excited to observe the life cycle of the butterflies and watch the metamorphosis.

All the best,

Kaltrina, Diane, Ruby and Marie
