Dear parents,
Happy and healthy holidays to you and your family.
We have had so much fun over the past two weeks. We have been so busy working on holiday crafts like snow globe, ornament, and reindeers. We read many books about the holidays and the New Year. We enjoyed decorating our Christmas tree with Ms. Erica (the speech therapist). We used ice cream cones, gummies and green frosting to decorate our individual Christmas tree. Also, we made handprint holiday cards and friendship bracelets.
Since there was a lot of snow outside this past week, and we were not prepared to play in the snow, we continued to enjoy some outdoor time going on short walks. We went for walks around the school, exploring the nature and singing our favorite holiday songs.
We feel so happy and lucky to be in school and enjoying these moments together.
Thank you so much for trusting us your precious possessions, your children!
Just a friendly reminder:
We will continue to go outside when temperature permits. We need our students to be fully prepared with labeled winter gear (hat, gloves, snow pants and boots) in order for them to enjoy playing in the snow.
Warm wishes,
Kaltrina, Diane, Ruby and Marie
