Issue: January 19 - January 29, 2021
Dear Families,
Everyone was happy to be back at school after the break and we got busy on our new themes and activities. We discussed migration and made a collage depicting geese flying south and read many books on what else happens in winter. We will continue this theme throughout the month and include concepts such as hibernation and weather. We also learned to mix primary colors to make secondary colors using paint at the easel and enjoyed many books on that concept as well. We will continue in the next couple of weeks to study mixing colors, paint with watercolors, and learn to make a rainbow. The children enjoyed ample gym time when unable to play outside and also Spanish and Nature enrichment.
Warm regards,
Ms. Jess, Mrs. Pascal, Ms. Nancy & Ms. Randi
