Dear Parents,

In the last few weeks have enjoyed fun Spring activities. We celebrated Earth Day by discussing what items are recyclable, learned the importance of recycling items, and categorized pictures of paper, plastic, aluminum, and glass items into the right recycling bin. Also, we have been watching our caterpillars grow and the children have been recording the changes in our butterfly cycle logs. The children painted and created a caterpillar of their own to be displayed on our bulletin board. We continue to learn about land formations and their differences. The Greenburgh Nature Center came to visit with Hoot, the screech owl, Daisy the chinchilla and a happy hedgehog.   We introduced flower arranging to the children to really brighten up the room. We wish all the Moms a wonderful Mother’s Day!

All the best,

Ms. Lorraine, Ms. Lillian, and Ms. Patti
