Dear Parents,

The last few weeks the children have been learning about rhyming words through the wonderful literature of Dr. Seuss, we read classics such as Green Eggs and Ham and One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish. The online classes were quite a transition for the children. We learned about earth science and how the earth orbits around the sun. We did a fun science activity using household items to make a lava lamp. We played a dice addition game and learned how to write equations. We also played a scavenger hunt game that required the children to find items in their homes that have the letter F, D and N sounds. We also created a journal of letter sounds with the correlating picture. The workbooks for distance learning included shape, sensorial and language activities. We will be going outside to explore nature and learning about plant growth in the coming days.
