Reminder: The children must wear closed toe, rubber soled shoes for safety!
Dear Parents,
We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday recess! In the coming weeks we will be enjoying more outdoor time and learning about all the changes the spring season can bring. We are all excited for the warmer days and all the new learning experiences. We also have been learning about vegetation and the parts that make up a plant. We will be growing our own plants in the class.
The children had an egg hunt outside and used their counting skills to add up the quantities of the colored eggs they found. They also did a stamping art project with large foam egg. In the coming months we will be having more nature lessons outside on our playground. The children will get the opportunity to learn about insects and other creatures that are a huge part of our eco system. We also will be collecting rainwater and recording it to see how much rain April will bring us. Remember about Spirit week April 12-19, we will be showing our school spirit by participating every day!
All the best,
Ms. Lorraine, Ms. Lillian, and Ms. Patti
