Hello Alcott Families,
It's hard to believe we are half-way through the month of March. Last week we were teased by mother nature with beautiful warm weather and the children and teachers loved every minute of it. The other morning while our class was in the back playground area riding bikes, we noticed 3 young deer grazing the grounds by the Aqueduct Trail. What a fun and thrilling discovery for all of us. The children were enthralled by the beauty of these animals, the deer looked so peaceful, and just like the children they were simply enjoying the beautiful warm morning. While it has been a challenging school year for everyone, we are so thankful to be in school with our students in person every day in a healthy safe environment.
To welcome Spring Alcott will have Spirit Week from April 12th through the 19th. Spirit Week is always a fun time for students and staff. Everyone will come to school dressed according to the theme of the day. Please be on the lookout for an Alcott email with all the details.
Warmest regards, Mrs. Rocafuerte, Mrs. Cinquina and Ms. Guglielmi
