Dear Parents,

In the past two weeks the students were introduced to a unit on recycling. During the unit we followed the following progression: first we showed pictures of a recycling plant and discussed how recycling helps our planet, second, children sorted recycled items in our classroom into categories. Lastly, we took a nature walk and clean up our school and the children created their own recycled robot which the children enjoyed making out of recycled materials. The children are so excited to bring home their recycled robot.

As the weather begins to change, please remember to replenish your child’s extra clothes, and empty your child’s backpack daily. Thank you so much for your continued support.

Warm Regards,

Ms. Victoria, Ms. Francine, and Ms. Nancy
