Dear Parents,

These past two weeks we have been learning about living and non-living things. The students learned the following characteristics: living things need food, air, water, and they reproduce, and non-living things do not need air, food, water, and do not reproduce. The children enjoyed this unit very much, hopefully it initiated some conversations at home. We had a wonderful time celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday. The children enjoyed listening to his stories and making connections about how different words rhyme. For his book Wacky Wednesday, we invited the students to dress wacky for the day. Some children had their jeans inside out, others had their hair wacky, and some had mismatched socks. We had a fantastic celebration!

Thank you for your continued support.

Warm Regards,

Ms. Victoria, Ms. Francine, and Ms. Nancy
