The last day of school is Friday June 25th

Save the date: Moving Up Celebration June 24, at 3:15 pm

Dear Parents,

Oh, we can’t believe the end of the year is just around the corner! The children are very excited for their moving up ceremony and we have been practicing every day. The children enjoyed another author study! These past two weeks the children had such a wonderful time listening to Laura Numeroff books. The common thread between all of the books was the tasting of the food that each book focused on in which the children thoroughly enjoyed. We read the following books that focused on food and here are some of the children’s favorites: If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, If You Give a Dog a Donut, If You give a cat a cupcake, and If You Give a Pig a Pancake. The children enjoyed this author study very much.

This week the children listened to classical music and enjoyed the experience. The composer that the children were exposed to was Mozart. The children listened to classical music for 5 minutes and then were instructed to create a drawing on how the music made them feel. The drawings that were created made us feel that we have future geniuses on our hands.

Thank you, parents, for all of your support this year it was truly a pleasure having your child in our class.

Warm Regards,

Ms. Victoria, Ms. Francine, and Ms. Nancy
