School closed on Wed 3/10 for Staff Development
& Fri 3/19 for Parent/ Teacher Conferences
Dear Parents,
Welcome to March! The months have really flown by. We hope that you enjoyed the winter break and all the beautiful snow falls. We know for sure we had so much fun playing in the snow outside on our playground.
Over the last two weeks the children learned how to use their five senses to discover the world around us. They learned how to stay healthy by practicing good eating and exercise. In honor of Dr. Seuss’s birthday, we read some of his books and made crafts using the characters from his stories and baked him a birthday cake! The children now know more about US currency through practicing with coins and dollars. We also had fun writing with quills and even made our own ink out of beets!
Remember to have your child wear something green for St. Patrick’s Day!
Our second Parent/Teacher conference is scheduled for Friday, March 19th.
This will be a time for parents and teacher to discuss the children’s progress.
Kindest regards,
Eva and Helene
