Physical Therapist Needed  - Fee for Service

The Alcott School is seeking a Physical Therapist, fee-for-service, to help our team cover our on-site services.

Alcott School is a special education preschool program serving students 3 – 5 years old with a variety of learning, emotional, sensory, and motor needs.

School hours are 9:30 – 3:30, school calendar.

The ideal candidate would have experience with the special education preschool population, be dedicated to the needs of

children, and be able to work collaboratively with our excellent team of speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, educators, psychologist, and supportive administrative staff. Documentation is on CPSE Portal.

Occupational Therapist Needed  - Leave Replacement, Fee for Service 

For coverage beginning in February, for approximately nine weeks.  

The Alcott School is seeking an Occupational Therapist, Registered for a leave replacement, approximately 12 hours per week for nine weeks, beginning in February 2020.  

Alcott School is a special education preschool program serving students 3 – 5 years old with a variety of learning, emotional, sensory, and motor needs. 

School hours are 9:30 – 3:30, school calendar.

Great Opportunity for a School Nurse at the Alcott School

Alcott School is seeking a Part-Time School Nurse for our growing Health Services department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assessment of children's health care needs, maintaining health care plans, administration and maintenance of emergency medication, monitoring health care records of children, and providing guidance for staff and parents in regard to child health concerns. The school nurse will be expected to work Monday-Friday 25 hours per week (9:00-2:00 pm) and will follow the school and program calendar. Candidates must have a NYS License as a Registered Professional Nurse. Teacher Aides for Early Intervention Program Are you looking for a part-time classroom position? Substitute Early Intervention Special Education teachers needed year around. Applicants should be available to work on an as needed basis during the school year.  Special Education teachers must have appropriate license and a certification to work with children, i.e. NYS Teacher Certification in Special Education (if received before 02/04) or NYS Teacher Certification in Early Childhood Special Education/Students with Disabilities (birth–grade 2) and be registered with an NPI number and HCS number.
